Direct Patient Access Laboratory Testing
We recognize the benefits of taking a proactive approach to your health and wellness. Direct patient access testing is defined as a confidential service for patients to order laboratory testing without a physician’s order.
What screenings are available as Direct Access Lab tests?
CBC, Glucose, HA1C, Fasting Lipid Panel, PSA (males only), Thyroid (TSH/FT4), Testosterone (males only), Urine Dipstick, Urine Drug Screen, Basic Metabolic Profile, Vitamin D 25 (5-OH), Fasting: Men’s Health Panel (BMP, CBC, Lipids, PSA), Fasting: Women’s Health Panel (BMP CBC, Lipids, TSH/FT4)
How will I receive my results?
Tests will be mailed to you in three-to-five business days. Test results will not be sent to your physician, employer, or insurance company. Any CRITICAL RESULTS are communicated directly to you, leaving you responsible to follow up with a physician.
How do I pay for the testing?
SCCH accepts cash, MasterCard, VISA and debit cards. No insurance will be billed.
How do I register?
You will complete a basic registration process, select the tests you would like performed, and pay for those tests. Then, you will be directed to our Lab waiting area.
