Sullivan County Community Hospital’s Emergency Room services are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

About

The department is staffed by a physician and specially-trained nurses and paramedics, to ensure exceptional care in emergent situations. Patients requiring critical or urgent care are prioritized.

For those patients needing more extreme emergency care, SCCH utilizes medical helicopters from Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis (Lifeline), Deaconess Hospital in Evansville (Lifeflight), and Air Evac in Brazil.

Geriatric Emergency Department Accreditation

SCCH has earned Geriatric Accreditation from the American College of Emergency Physicians.

As an Accredited Geriatric Emergency Department, SCCH’s protocol-driven approach to senior care allows us to provide superior, tailored care. Seniors who visit our emergency department can be assured that the facility has the necessary expertise, equipment, and personnel in place to provide optimal care.
