Sullivan County Community Hospital’s Emergency Room services are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

The department is staffed by a physician and specially-trained nurses and paramedics, to ensure exceptional care in emergent situations. Patients requiring critical or urgent care are prioritized.

For those patients needing more extreme emergency care, SCCH utilizes medical helicopters from Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis (Lifeline), Deaconess Hospital in Evansville (Lifeflight), and Air Evac in Brazil.

You will be asked to provide the following items, if possible:

Insurance card

Social Security Number

A list of any medications you are taking

Information regarding allergies or other medical conditions

Geriatric Emergency Department Accreditation

SCCH has earned Geriatric Accreditation from the American College of Emergency Physicians.
