Sue Chagnon was born and raised in Sullivan County. Sue graduated from Indiana University with a Bachelor's in Physical Therapy in 1982. Sue has experience in sports medicine, work injury management, home health, and outpatient therapy. She is credentialed through the Indiana Medical Licensing Board.

In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her children and grandchildren, hiking, fishing, going to parks, and attending sporting events. At home, she enjoys reading and crafting. Sue is also active with various activities and outreach at her church.
