Dr. Shahid Bashir is a highly distinguished, board-certified Pulmonologist with over 30 years of specialized experience in Pulmonary/Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine. He earned his medical degree from Dow Medical College before completing rigorous residency and fellowship training at Cook County Hospital in Chicago, Illinois.

Since 1996, Dr. Bashir has been a pillar of the medical community, providing expert care for complex respiratory conditions and critically ill patients. He possesses extensive experience in treating a wide range of sleep disorders, including sleep apnea and obstructive sleep apnea (OSA).

Beyond his clinical expertise, Dr. Bashir is renowned for his compassionate, patient-centered approach. He believes in the power of listening and building lasting trust to ensure that families feel fully supported throughout the healing process. His leadership in the field is further highlighted by his past tenure as the Director of the Tuberculosis Clinic for Clark and Champaign Counties.
