Billie Boone is from Terre Haute, Indiana. She obtained her Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree from St. Mary of the Woods College in 2004, her Masters of Education (M. Ed) in School Counseling from Indiana State University in 2021, and her post-master's certificate in Mental Health Counselor from Butler University in 2023.

Billie has worked in the mental health field since 2013, starting out as a case manager in the community of mental health industry. She then worked for the State of Indiana for over 7 years as a child welfare case manager and a childcare consultant for the southwest region of the state before starting her career as a school counselor. In 2022, she was the Director of Turning Leaf before realizing that she had a passion for working with clients as a therapist.

In her spare time, Billie enjoys spending time with her family, volunteering at a pug rescue, Green Bay Packers and Alabama football, traveling (especially to Tennessee, Kentucky and Alabama), making art, visiting art museums and thrifting/ antiquing.
